Romy Cahyadi

Romy Cahyadi is the Director and one of the founders of ProVisi Education, an education consulting company based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Romy has a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Iowa State University, U.S.A. Romy has since 2002 been committed to education development programs throughout Indonesia. ProVisi Education in the past 7 years has been serving more than 2,000 teachers and 200 schools across Indonesia archipelago. Since 2006 ProVisi Education has held annual nation-wide teachers conference attracting in total of more than 2,400 participants. With his expertise in leadership and values education he has given seminars, workshops and been a speaker at numerous conferences. This is Romy’s fourth visit to Sabah having led training programs for Seri Insan teachers since 2007. He is a remarkable visionary and fully committed to devoting his life to betterment of teachers and students.
Helena Kurumon

Helena Kurumon is the deputy principal of Sekolah Swasta Seri Insan. She is a Malaysian trained educator and has been teaching for 26 years. She is currently taking a bachelor degree off campus while holding her full time work. Her passion and commitment in education is to the development of teachers to improve teaching quality. A very creative teacher, she is a consultant for others on how to develop the best teaching practices to enhance student learning. Due to this expertise Helena was an invited speaker at the Indonesian Teachers Conference in November 2008 in Samarinda, Indonesia.
Encik Iskandar Ahmad

Encik Iskandar Ahmad, holds a Dip. MII-LUTC. Iskandar is a well known personality in Kota Kinabalu especially in the field of motivational training. He is the Chief Executive Officer of BUMI IT Consulting Sdn. Bhd., the District Manager of AIA Co. Ltd. (since 1982) and the Managing Director of Ahmad Leadership Inc. Iskandar is passionate about the development of youth and has spent countless hours providing training for young people. His philosophy is, develop the self as far as possible so one is better able to contribute to community as a whole. In this line, he is Past President of the Kota Kinabalu Junior Chamber, the National Public Speaking Champion Junior Chamber Malaysia, the Past President of the Kota Kinabalu Toastmasters Club including representing Malaysia and the Pan-South-East-Asia at the Toastmasters International Convention in Chicago, U.S.A. He was awarded the Toastmasters President’s Distinguished Division Governor. Iskandar participates in numerous community development programs but sports is one of his passions towards total personal development. He holds a black belt in taekwondo and shorinji kempo as well as instructing at Universiti Malaysia Sabah.
Siebrig Henrik Schreuder

Siebrig Henrik Schreuder, 54, was born in Netherlands. He obtained his Bachelor Degree in Teacher Education in 1978, continued with a Master Degree in German Literature (1985) and a Post-graduate Master Degree in Special Education (1994). In 1979, he started his career as teacher at a private elementary school in the Netherlands and became the principal of this school in 1983. Apart from his responsibility as a teacher, he has organized and conducted various workshops on special education for young teachers in Poland and also acted as a board-member for an international education aid organization. In 2001 Mr. Siebrig moved to Indonesia (Yogyakarta) and accepted a job as educational consultant at “YAKKUM”, an institute for physically disabled young people. After one year he was asked to set-up and manage a special education college in the Faculty of Education of Yogyakarta State University. This job has provided him with a great opportunity to visit schools, deliver various workshops and become a consultant for some schools in Yogyakarta. He was also involved in some research activities, e,g.: “Realistic Mathematic Education in Indonesia”. The research has already been recognized and implemented widely throughout the Indonesian education system and some 500 pilot-project schools are running at the moment.
